Location

Il Fornaccio is located on the hillside of the Olmo, at 500 meters above sea level, sited panoramically, ten minutes by car from Fiesole and from Florence (easily reached by public transport, 700 meters from a bust stop, and six kilometers from the train station of Caldine).  

Its proximity to three major roads leading out of town, Via Faentina, Via Bolognese and Via Forlivese, makes it an ideal point of departure for excursions in the Mugello, Val di Sieve e Valdarno.
